The translation of Narcissu Side 2nd is in work since the 6th June 2007. There were no status updates we could've reported about since then, but now on Gemot a "mini demo" was released (dl1) (dl2). Once we know anything new about the translation status we'll tell you at once. For more information on the games please refer to our partner VNDB - the visual novel database.

Mirror Moon has released an updated version of their Tsukihime translation patch.
V1.2 mostly fixes the latest set of reported typos, but also adds three
mini-stories as the third easter egg and fixes a bug in the flowchart (please note, that v1.2 requires v.1.1 to update). Download the patch on Mirror Moon's website.

As some of you may be aware, Werk have done/are doing a doujin Super Robot Wars-style game, drawing content from all the TYPE-MOON works, called Battle Moon Wars.
Around July last year, there were a few inklings of a translation project for this game being launched/in progress, with the "team" being comprised of some familiar faces.
In March of this year however, a completely unexpected release was made - one which translated almost all the text in Act 1. Recently, the same person has released an update.

Besides, that Little Busters! EX is finaly available for preorder on Himeya I have other good news today:
I finaly found a server which seems to have everything needed for downloads. Administration will be taken over by 3DB from VNDB, great thanks dude!
I've ordered the server and I hope it'll be online at the end of the coming week. I've rented it for 1 month for now since I want to go sure, that performance and reliability are on a adequate level. Also we'll limit downloads to 6x per IP the day. That's to keep traffic under control, but most important, to kill DOS attacks and other stuff like that in the roots. Please also note, that this solution isn't final yet and that I still might switch to something like Rapidshare.

It has been reported that Navel game, Really? Really!, will be ported to a console (console details haven't been revealed yet but it will most likely be the PS2 (or maybe even the PS3)). It is yet unknown if the port will have anything extra or if the title of the game will remain exactly the same.
This isn't all. Navel is also working on another port. The PS2 game "SHUFFLE! On The Stage" will be ported to PC. This version of the game contains 2 additional routes compared to the original SHUFFLE game that was released on PC. The PC ported game will be released under the title "SHUFFLE! Essence+".

Agnus Dei is the latest completed translation project from Deja Vu. Agnus Dei is the name of a ZigZag fandisc release released for April Fool's Day. More details about the release and download links can be found on this Deja Vu page.
Next is a new group called Dark Translations. I say group but it is more of a 1-man team. The person in charge of the work, Nephrinn, will release his translations on a regular basis so that part after part the game gets translated and released on a more continuous basis.
The only project currently being worked on is Gang Rape Club. You can browse the blog entries for additional details about the game and story as Nephrinn posted a few entries about the project that is already 5% done after a few days of work.
In addition to this one project being worked one. Dark Translations also posted one completed project: Anti-Demon Ninja Asagi 1. make sure to visit the Dark Translations page for downloads and regular progress updates.

Little Busters-EX release date |

Saturday, 19 April 2008 |
A release date for KEY's new version of Little Busters, Little Busters-EX, has been announced: July 25th, 2008. Reservation will start from April 25th.
The biggest change in this version is the hentai (sexual) content. Furthermore there'll be a new character and new routes as well.
I have no information if there'll be a first press limited edition, however judging from the release of the full voice version of Clannad (only normal edition) there won't be one.
As there were recently questions on our forum regarding Windows Vista: All new visual novels run at least on Vista 32Bit, however it's not sure that they will run on the 64Bit edition, same for the Windows XP 64Bit version. Also older visual novel mostly won't run on Vista. Therefore I can only recommend you to install Windows XP as second OS or, if you got Vista with your computer, call Microsoft and ask for an XP license. At least here in Europe you are allowed to use your Vista license for Windows XP instead.
MAC users just stick to boot camp.
